Summary

We are seeking a dedicated, organized parts inside sales representative to join our heavy-duty truck repair team. In this role, you'll work hand-in-hand with our technicians to source the right parts quickly and accurately, keeping repairs moving and our shop running efficiently. You'll also own inventory control, including parts returns and core returns. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of heavy-duty truck parts, strong customer service skills, and a sharp eye for detail. Job Description:

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians with sourcing parts quickly and accurately to keep repairs on schedule and boost shop efficiency.
• Locate and correctly identify parts based on repair orders, technician requests, and customer inquiries.
• Handle parts inquiries and sales with customers and vendors, both in person and over the phone.
• Generate quotes, sales orders, and invoices.
• Manage inventory control, including receiving, stocking, and tracking incoming parts and supplies.
• Process parts returns and core returns accurately and on time.
• Manage backorders and track deliveries.
• Participate in inventory audits and help keep stock levels optimized.
• Maintain a clean and organized parts department.

Qualifications

• Experience in a heavy-duty truck parts environment or a related field preferred; pay is based on experience.
• Strong understanding of heavy-duty truck parts and components.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable with computers, including inventory management or parts lookup software.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple requests at once in a fast-paced shop.
• Ability to lift moderate weights (up to 50 lbs).

• 7 am - 4 pm
• Monday-Friday
• No on-call required
